Loree May Lappin, 90, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013, at her home near Brush. She was born October 15, 1922, in Vera, OK, to James & Bertha Crispin. The Crispin family moved to Morgan County, CO and Loree attended school in Snyder, Brush, Fort Morgan and the Wildcat School. On October 15, 1952, Loree married Sonny Lappin in Lafayette, CO. The Lappins lived in the Boulder community for over 59 years. After the death of Sonny, Loree moved back to Morgan County in 2011. Loree was an avid reader. She enjoyed taking care of her family and friends. Loree was preceded in death by her husband; 2 sisters, Vera James and Caroline Tumbleson; 4 brothers, Herbert Crispin, Gilbert Crispin, Fred Crispin and Pat Crispin; and her parents. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Heer Mortuaries & Crematory.
