Lorene Marie Gardetto, 90, longtime Morgan County resident, passed away Saturday, July 26,, 2014, in the Doak Walker Nursing Home in Steamboat Springs, CO. She was born October 22, 1923, in Weldona, CO, to Americo & Katie Lorenzini. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gardetto. Rosary service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014, at 6:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Weldona. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 1, at 10:30 AM at St. Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Lorene Gardetto Memorial Fund with funds to go to the Colorado Head Injury Foundation, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, St. Helena Catholic Church or St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush.
