Lorraine Anderson, 67, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley following a lengthy illness.. She was born January 2, 1948, in Charleston, SC.

Lorraine has lived in the Brush community since 1972. Prior to health issues forcing her retirement, she worked as a nurse's aide caring for the elderly and later worked as a waitress.  All through her life she loved and advocated for animals of all kinds, while devoting much time caring for many of her own pets.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush and frequently attended St. Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan.

Lorraine has no known family.  She was dear friends of the Boettcher and Bratrsovsky families in Morgan County and the Kearse family of Fairfax, SC.

A memorial Mass will be recited on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
