Louis Cecil Lusby, 66, of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on October 8 ^th , 2022.

He was born on May 15 ^th , 1956 to Luther and Muriel Lusby in Denver, Colorado.

Louis attended Arizona Automotive Institute with a degree in the Electrical Drafting Division

He worked as a mechanical drafter at TerraLUX and Enersys before he retired in 2022.

He loved to travel with his family and friends to Mexico, Las Vegas and had many adventures with his brother Bob, visiting different countries all over the world. Louis was a huge Colorado Avalanche hockey and Denver Broncos fan. He was very happy to see his Avalanche win its most recent Stanley Cup earlier this year. If you were lucky enough to know Louis, you know he loved discussing sports, politics, and anything else going on in the world at the time.

Louis is survived by his sister, Carole Reeve of Elgin; sister-in-law, Debbie Lusby of Greeley; his nieces, Erika (Jason) Weizenegger of Greeley, Heather (Jimmy) Jones of Greeley and Aimee (Leon) Lala of Colorado Springs; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father (Muriel and Luther); and His three brothers (Mark, Robert, Paul Lusby).

Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on November 4 ^th 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush Colorado. Burial will follow the funeral at Brush Memorial Cemetery.
