Louise Gonzales, 63, of Fort Morgan passed away on Friday November 12, 2021 at CPMC. Louise was born in Brush on April 13, 1958 to Mary and Ramiro Gonzales.

Louise attended Brush area schools. She was fluent in Spanish and worked as a translator, helping out the courts, hospitals and other entities.

Louise loved children, and they loved her. She always had a crowd of kids around her as she would give them rides on her scooter. Her niece, Sandra, always called her mom and they were inseparable.  Sandra loved her auntie with all her heart and they had a bond that no one could break.

Louise's favorite holidays were Independence Day and New Year's Eve. She loved lighting fireworks for all to see.

She very much enjoyed attending Spanish dances, and often traveled to various towns to attend them. In 1989, Louise met Norberto Marquez at a Spanish dance in Fort Morgan, and they have been together ever since.

Louise is survived by her soul mate, Norberto Marquez; her children, Albert Gonzales (April and her son Caden) of Brush, and Louis Rios of Denver; her sisters, Midge Killough (Mike) of Brush, Josie Benavides of Ault, Theresa Gonzales of Fort Morgan, Patti Gonzales (Felix Rivera) of Brush; and one brother, Ramiro Gonzales Jr. of Greeley. She is also survived by her close friend Mona Estrada and her children, Joel, Erik and Adriana Estrada; her grandchildren, Anthony Rios, Jessica Gonzales (Zach Johnson), Christopher Gonzales (Alysia), Jiovani Rios, Anecia Sanchez, Alonzo Rios, Emiliano Rios, Inez Rios and Bella Rios; her great grandchildren, Aubri, Brooklynn, Nova, Kristy, Korra and Taylor, and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister Helen Gonzales; nephew, Erik Foley, and many aunts and uncles.
