Louise S. Moreland, 84 of Brush, CO died Wednesday evening at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born July 3, 1922 in Nottoway, VA to William and Lillian Slate. She married Lewis H. Moreland May 7, 1940 in Blackstone, VA. She is survived by her twin sons, Joseph Moreland of Cheyenne, WY, and Charles Moreland of Vacaville, CA , 1 sister Mae Slate of Blackstone, VA , 5 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 4 sisters, and her parents. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Lakeview cemetery in Blackstone. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary is in Charge of the local arrangements.
