Luella June Rathjen, nee Gebauer, lovingly known as June, age 94, of Killen, Alabama passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. June was born in Akron on October 17, 1920, to August and Nellie Gebauer. Her interests were quilting, embroidery, and sewing custom-made drapes. She was a long-time resident of Draper, UT. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include a son, Milford Randall Rathjen of St. Augustine, FL, a daughter & son-in-law Carolyn and Robert Horton of Killen, Alabama; a daughter-in=law, Carol Rathjen of Carson City, NV; 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Henry Rathjen; son, Larry Ray Rathjen; 5 sisters and 1 brother. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Thursday from 10 -11 AM.
