Lydia Bostron, 98, lifelong area resident, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Fort Morgan. She was born March 2, 1916 in Fort Morgan to Jacob and Katherine (Bauer) Schlothauer. Lydia married Victor Bostron on April 16, 1939 in Fort Morgan. She was a member of the Wiggins Community Church. Lydia enjoyed sewing and baking. She loved her family and they were very important to her, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include, three daughters, Katherine Vanduyn of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Barbara Baker (Ron) of Wiggins, and Donna Adams of Greeley, two sons, Victor Bostron of Boise, Idaho, and James Bostron (Susie) of Wiggins, one brother, Sam Schlothauer of Aurora, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor, brothers, Henry, Dave, and Jacob Schlothauer, sisters, Marie Fries, Katherine Gammel, Rachel Menking, Ann Riffel, Amelia Elmore, and Leah Weimer, and her parents. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Memorial Gifts may be made to the Wiggins Community Church.
