Lydia Martindale, 94, lifetime Fort Morgan resident passed away, January 17, 2016 in Greeley, CO. Lydia was born March 5, 1921 in Fort Morgan to Alexander and Molly Schultz.

Lydia married William Martindale on October 3, 1939 in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed gardening, particularly flowers. She loved spending time with family, especially her great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two children, Charlene Foster and Howard Martindale; one brother, Sam Schultz of Virginia; five grandchildren, Charmaine Foster, Martindale Foster, Charlotte Foster, Morgan Foster and Heath Martindale; three great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; five brothers, Alex, David, Reinhold, Eddie and Ruben Schultz; three sisters, Molly Perry, Rachel Hoffmann and Leah McGowan.

A funeral service will be Monday, January 25 th at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9-11 AM.
