Lynda Karlene Nichols, 71, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at her home. She was born November 13, 1943 in Salem, Oregon, to Gerald and Ernestine Pultz. Lynda married Floyd Nichols on October 12, 1994. Lynda was an avid collector, enjoyed babysitting and spending time with family and friends, but her true passion was animals. For the past 25 years she had a pet cow named "Baby Girl" that she enjoyed. Survivors include her four children, Sirena Dayley, Darrell Nichols Jr., Jerri Johnson and Shannon Ward; two sisters, Kathy Weber and Molly Taylor; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, Marty Young; one daughter, Molly Nichols; one great granddaughter, Halie Wiley and her parents. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 20, 2015, at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.
