M. FRANCES ANDERSON, 87, died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan. She was born January 15, 1923 in Leeds, Sioux City, IA to Edward & Elizabeth (Munsch) Barrett. She attended school in Leeds, Sioux City. Frances married Loren E. Anderson on August 30, 1941 in Huron, SD. They moved to Fort Morgan after WW II in 1946. Mr. & Mrs. Anderson owned and operated Anderson's Radio & T.V. Repair in Fort Morgan for 30 years after which, Frances worked at Alco in Fort Morgan for 15 years before retiring. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan, V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 2551, American Legion Auxiliary Post 19, AARP, and Owls Club. She also volunteered at the Fort Morgan Museum and Green Acres and Baker Schools for a number of years. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. Her pride and joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Dana Washburn and husband, Rod; her son, Barry Anderson and wife, Rose, of Fort Morgan; seven grandchildren, Jackie Tomason and Chad Anderson, both of Florida, Brian Washburn of Denver, Shelly Berhost and Christopher, Derek, and Ashley Anderson, all of Fort Morgan; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; her sister, Iona Gregory of Gering, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, her husband, and her son, Ron Anderson. Visitation will be Monday, August 23rd from 4 – 7 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan. A funeral service will be Tuesday, August 24th, at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children in care of Heer & Dahl Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701, or to Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan.
