Madilyn Elsie Carbajal, of Brush, passed away unexpectedly on March 7 ^th , 2023. She was born February 28 ^th , 2011, in Brighton, CO to Teodoro Carbajal Jr. and Alyssa Abbott.

Madilyn loved her family, cherished her friends, and touched the lives of those she met. She was currently in the 6 ^th grade at Woodlin Undivided School in Woodrow, CO but also attended preschool in Akron, CO and kindergarten thru 5 ^th grade in Brush, CO. Madilyn's first love was dance, she also loved to play sports which included volleyball, basketball and soccer. She loved music and was just beginning to chase her passion of playing the guitar. She loved sketching and expressing herself through her art. Madilyn was also part of Scouts and enjoyed helping in the community. Madilyn loved going to church every Sunday, and accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized on September 18 ^th , 2022, at Elevating Life Church, in Fort Morgan, CO. Madilyn could brighten any room that she walked into with her infectious beautiful smile.

She is already tremendously missed by those whom she leaves behind. Her mother Alyssa Abbott and Daniel Montez, and her father Teodoro Jr. and Celeste Carbajal, brothers Benjamin, Andre, Emiliano, Teodoro Carbajal lll, and Casius, Darius and Dj Montez, and sisters Mckinzie, Cecilia, and Dennae Carbajal. Grandparents Beckey Abbott, Daniel Abbott, Theresa Zuniga and Braulio Leyva, Teodoro Sr. and Anabel Carbajal, Raylene Romero, Manuel Segura Montez, and Rosalinda Montez. Great Grandparents Debbie Ficco and Hortencia Carbajal. She also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was greeted in heaven by her grandpa Denny Romero, great grandparents Edward Ficco, Mary Bender, Jose Carbajal, Mary Lucero, and other relatives who preceded her.

Services for Madilyn will be held Friday, March 17 ^th , 2023 at Elevating Life Church in Fort Morgan, CO at 11:00 am. To honor Madilyn's memory, please dress in purple, her favorite color.
