Malachi Lance
Vondy
Jul 12, 1999 — Apr 30, 2022
Malachi Lance Vondy, born July 12, 1999, passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 22. Malachi is survived by his wife, Allyssa Burns and young daughter, Rori, parents, Chad and Ariella Vondy, siblings, Maveryk and Journee Vondy, and Ismo (Elizabeth) Franco, grandparents, Gary (Pa) and Deb (Grams) Vondy, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his best dog, buddy Louis.
After graduating from Brush High School, Malachi attended Western Colorado Community College where he graduated with an Electric Lineworker Technical Certificate. Malachi was a fun-loving goofball who will be missed by many. He never took life too seriously and enjoyed getting others to live life to the fullest. Malachi was one big kid who worked hard and played hard, and never planned on completely growing up. He was a man of many trades always ready to try new things and learn new skills. Malachi left his mark on the crane industry working for Big Johnson Construction and as a hand for Wacker Farms. Malachi's free time was spent doing what he loved - playing and working on RC cars with his dad and his brothers. Malachi was a loving friend, son, husband, brother, and even though he wasn't one for long, a great father. He is already greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 3pm in Merino, Colorado at the Merino Cemetery, 9539-9635 County Road 6. A celebration of life will be held immediately after at the Merino Community Center, (211 Colorado Ave.). Malachi was a simple man who loved people as they were, he was impressed by your heart and integrity, not by your fancy clothes. Please come dressed as Malachi knew you best. In lieu of flowers or food, memorial donations may be made to the Malachi Vondy Memorial Fund care of Allyssa Burns through Bank of CO.
