Manuel G. Montoya, 76, died peacefully March 23, 2015 in Brush, CO. He was born February 22, 1939 in Ojo Feliz, NM to Guadalupe and Merove Montoya. Manny married Beatrice Celestino in 2007. He was an Iron Worker for many years and enjoyed fishing, and woodworking. Manny never knew a stranger and would help anyone. Manny's family was the world to him, and his dog Ernie was his best friend. Manny is survived by his wife, Beatrice; his two daughters, Kimberly (Salvador) Rubalcaba of Brush; Linda Montoya of Colorado Springs; three sons, Manuel Jr. (Linda) Montoya of Colorado Springs; Michael Montoya of Colorado Springs; Steven Trujillo of Huron, SD; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren; one sister and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers. A memorial service will be Friday, March 27, at 10:30 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. The service will conclude at the Mortuary.
