Maralyn Annette
Nau
Apr 21, 1939 — Aug 20, 2025
Maralyn Annette Nau was born on April 21, 1939, in Stafford, Kansas, to Marion and Viola Elizabeth "Beth" Ward. She grew up alongside a brother "Irtis Ward" and two sisters, "Glenice Mitchell and Viola Jones". She graduated from high school in Bucklin, Kansas. Maralyn was the mother of four children: Raymond Irtis Hoyt, Glenna "Kim" Hoyt (deceased), Paulette Frances Tittel, and Donna Le Larsen. In 1986, she moved to Brush, Colorado, with Donna, where she continued to nurture and care for her family.
A woman of many talents and passions, Maralyn loved horses and fast cars, especially little red corvettes. She found joy in knitting and crocheting. She worked as a nurse's aide and cook at Sunset Manor, where she touched many lives. Above all, she cherished her role as a grandmother, helping to raise her grandchildren and always putting family first.
Maralyn was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and daughter, Glenna "Kim." She is survived by her children, Raymond, Paulette, and Donna, as well as 14 grandchildren who will carry her memory forward with love and a "God be with you".
A celebration of Maralyn's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and honor the legacy of a woman whose kindness and strength will never be forgotten.
