Maralyn L. (Schwindt) Page, 80, died Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Morgan. She was Born October 20, 1942, in Weldona.
Maralyn graduate from Fort Morgan High School in 1960 and attended Brush Schools for many years. She graduated from Cliff Mann Floral School and Ikebana Floral Arts in Las Vegas, NV. She went on to become the National Merchandiser for a dried floral company, selling to large chain companies, designed lines of floral arrangements and traveled to China and Japan to develop floral lines. She also published eight "how-to" floral books and was a buyer for two floral chains. When Maralyn's husband became ill, she went to work for the State of Colorado in the Municipal Court System, close to home. They moved to Elizabeth, CO and opened an antique store on their property, and later moved back to Fort Morgan, where she continued with selling antiques and collectibles on eBay. Maralyn never missed a garage or estate sale.
Maralyn is survived by one son, Bryan Parkhill of Weldona; and one daughter, Debra (Michael) Parkhill-Conrad of Fort Morgan; five grandchildren, Trenton Pangle of Fort Morgan, Jeremy Parkhill of Denver, Ericka Parkhill, Tyler Parkhill and Sarah Parkhill, all of Parker. She is also survived by her brother, Sam Schwindt of Brush; four sisters, Barbara Bailey and Norma Kroskob of Fort Morgan, Shirley Garret of Wells, NV and Karen Comings of Carbondale.
Maralyn's husband, Jerry Page passed away in 2018. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Ruhl; her parents, Sam & Roberta Schwindt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, November 30 th at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium in Fort Morgan.
