Margaret Lee Godo passed away, June 30, 2023 at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan, following a decline in health.

She was born August 18, 1934 in Fort Morgan, the daughter of Spike and Eva Griffith. Margaret married Raymond John Godo Sr. on March 21, 1955 and they raised six children. While raising her family, she worked on the dairy farm. Her yard was always blooming with flowers. Margaret always had a big garden and was always pulling weeds. She managed her house very well as it was always spotless.

Margaret loved cooking and baking; you never left her house hungry. She was a wonderful mother, always putting her children first. Margaret was a great role model and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by four sons, Raymond, Terry, Charles, and Paul; daughter, Eva Frank; sister, Carol Prevost, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Mike.

A service will be held on Monday, July 10th at 11:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. The family will greet friends, beginning at 9:30AM. Interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
