Margaret L. Hepner, 80, Brush, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born January 19, 1928, in Jenks, OK, to Arlie & Goldie Briggs. On June 25, 1950, Margaret married Dale Hepner in Greeley, CO. In 1975 the Hepner family moved to Brush. Prior to retirement, Margaret worked at the East Morgan County Hospital as a certified nurse assistant. She was a member of the EMCH Auxiliary and very active member of Calvary Assembly of God in Brush. Survivors include her children, Dale Jr, of Brush; Darlene Boyce of Pueblo, CO, Marlene Hepner of Sterling, CO, and Darrell of Aurora, CO; 2 brothers, Glenn Briggs and Wayne Owen both of Springfield, MO; 4 sisters, Zelma Dorsey of Golden, CO, Melba Ikenouye of Greeley, CO, Arlene Deiterle of Hill City, SD, and Joyce Burns of Springfield, MO; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 sister, Willmetta; 1 brother, Roy, and her parents. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 19, 2009, at 10:30 AM at the Calvary Assembly of God, 1012 Eaton Street in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Sunday from 2 – 5 PM.
