Margaret J. Ishmael, 92 died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born January 18, 1915 in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado to James and Mary (Skinner) Curtis. She married Carl L. Ishmael on June 4, 1939 in Montrose, Colorado. He died in 1998. Margaret lived and worked in Denver most of her life. When she retired she lived in Phoenix, Arizona for a time, and has lived in Brush since 1997. Margaret was a member of the Lakewood United Methodist Church in Lakewood, CO and enjoyed various crafts including knitting and sewing. She and her husband loved to travel and had visited several states and places in their travels. Survivors include her son, Roger "Morgan" Ishmael of Ft. Morgan, long time voice at KFTM, one sister, Cora "Babe" Rennicke and one brother, Lynn Curtis both of Littleton and one grandchild. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl, one son, Richard and one brother, Larry Curtis. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 10:00 am at the All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben-Ezer in Brush. Memorial Gifts may be made the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
