Margaret Juanes, 49, longtime Fort Morgan resident, passed away February 2, 2016 at University Hospital in Denver, CO .

She was born May 18, 1966 in Raton, NM to Alfonso and Mary Granado.

Margaret was an active member of Saint Helena's Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, shopping, exercising and dancing. She loved getting together with her family and friends.

Survivors include her father, Alfonso Granado; two sisters, Stephanie Sanchez and Norma Gomez; one brother, Alfonso Granado Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Alex Sanchez, Desiree Duran, Noel Sanchez, Alexsa Sanchez, Jovan Granado, Fabian Sifuentez, Alexander Sanchez, Natalia Bencomo, and Aiden Sanchez; niece/goddaughter, Kailah Bencomo; other godchildren, Patrick Garcia and Rachel Sanchez; and her best friend, Sophia Mendoza.

Margaret was preceded in death by her mother; and her daughter,  Josephine Juanes.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 11th from 4-7 PM with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM, both at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 12th at 10:00 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
