MARGARET MARIA PEREZ, 67, of Fort Morgan, died Friday, February 8, 2008 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan. She was born May 17, 1940 in Las Vegas, NM to Eliseo & Frances (Encinas) Maestas. She married Manuel Perez in Fort Morgan. Mrs. Perez was a member of the Platte Valley Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. She enjoyed yard sales and playing bingo. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Manuel Perez Sr. of Fort Morgan; seven children, Linda Lopez, Delphinia Perez, Albert Perez, and Adam Perez, all of Fort Morgan, Manuel Perez Jr. of Brush, and Lupe Lujan and Joe Perez, both of Greeley. She is also survived by three sisters, Helen Venezuela of Berthoud, Patty Gonzalez of Denver, and Linda Valesquez of Milliken; one brother, Joe Maestas of Evans; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and four sisters. Visitation will be at the Heer & Jolliffe Chapel today, February 12, 2008 from 2 – 6 PM. Memorial services will be Wednesday, February 13th at 11:00 AM at the Platte Valley Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan on Wednesday at 12:30 PM. Memorial gifts may be made to the Platte Valley Baptist Church. The Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of Interment arrangements.
