Margaret (Mardie) Ruth Rehkow Pray was born October 20, 1927, in Denver Colorado. She passed away in the loving presence of family and friends on January 12, 2018, at the Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan at the age of 90.

Mardie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Winfield (Win) Pray, sister Wilma Johnson, and brother-in-law Bob Johnson.

She is survived by 5 children (Linda, Jan, Bill, Bob, Lisa); 9 grandchildren (Ben, Bryce, Megan, Jim, Tom, Tami, Adam, Beth, Daniel); 10 great grandchildren (Kayla, Daemyen, JR, Kaeden, Mazie, Tyler, Addie, Brecon, Gwyneth, Eva); and nephews Bruce and Stewart Johnson

The daughter of Frederick W. and Margarita A. Rehkow, Mardie was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from the Colorado State College of Education in Greeley, lived briefly in Twin Falls, ID, and raised her family in Boulder, CO.

Mardie's professional career as an Adult Education Coordinator focused on English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education, and GED Preparation. She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Boulder and Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Longmont.

Family and friends joined in a Celebration of Life for Mardie on January 15 in Fort Morgan.
