Obituary

Margaret Marie "Maggie" Reagan, 91 of Log Lane Village, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2017. Margaret was born March 2, 1926 in Staten Island, New York to Elizabeth  "Libby" (Housten) and John Albert Walker. She had three brothers and six sisters. On September 8, 1945, Margaret married Raymond Joseph Reagan at the Immaculate Conception Church on Staten Island. They were married for 57 years.

They and their young family moved to Fort Morgan, Colorado in 1952. Margaret was active in the Alter and Rosary Society, VFW Auxiliary, and an avid bowler for over 55 years. She was actively involved in her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's sports events, award ceremonies, graduations and weddings.  Margaret was swimming, snowshoeing, and parasailing into her 80's and took her last international trip to Costa Rica for her ninetieth birthday. She read two newspapers daily and logged on to her Facebook to keep up with world events, politics, and to stay connected with her growing family.

Margaret is survived by her five children, Joan Magnusson (Don), Barbara Coloroso (Don), Margaret Pease (Richard), Maureen Keller, and Raymond Reagan, Jr., 18 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, her younger sister, Betty McGovern, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2017 at St. Helena's Catholic Church, 917 W 7th Ave, Fort Morgan, followed by inurnment in the Serenity Falls Columbarium.  A luncheon will be served for family and friends at St. Helena's.

Before her death, Margaret asked that in lieu of flowers, a gift be made to your favorite cause or charity.
