Margaret Curry Timpe, 96, born on December 4, 1928, to Charles and Elsie (Palmer) Curry passed away in Colorado Springs, CO in the early evening hours of January 28, 2025.

She married Richard Charles Timpe on December 30, 1947, shortly after his return from service in the Army during World War II and, for the next 63 years was his devoted farm wife. Margaret was the loving mother of six children and reveled in the time she was able to spend time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, she was steadfastly dedicated to her faith, family, and friends. Margaret was known as Mrs. T to generations of Sunday School children and retained that moniker when she moved into the ViewPointe retirement community. She could always be counted on to help at the church, mowed the lawns and shoveled the walks of her neighbors (even into her 80s), or schooling her grandchildren in the art of board games.

She is survived by five sons, Randie (Shirley), Roger (Judy), Gene (Colleen), Gerald (Lynn), Mark (Alison); daughter, Susan Simons (Mark); 10 grandchildren, Barrie, Kevin, Tina, Rikelle, Elizabeth, Ryan, Alexander, Nicholas, Dylan, Zachary; 12 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard (2011); 3 brothers, George, Charles, Wayne; and 5 sisters, Juanita Jolly, Loreda Musgrave, Venita Whitney, Elnora Nichols, Harriett Bassett.

A memorial service will be held at the Morgan Church of the Nazarene at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025. The services will also be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/NazChurch3305/.
