Margie "Midge" Eaton English, 84, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Margie was born to H.W. and Alice Eaton in Papillion, NE on September 29, 1926. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, MO and worked for the Braniff Airlines office in the Brown Palace Hotel, Denver, CO. She married Albert (Al) English on December 28, 1947. Al and Midge founded English Feedlot Inc. and associated companies, where she worked as secretary/ treasurer for many years. She is survived by her husband, Al English, of Wiggins; a son, Doug and his wife, Tana, of Wiggins; a daughter, Vicki Lehrer, and her husband, Earl, of Fort Morgan; a grandson, Scott English, and his wife, Sara, and a great granddaughter, Alexis, all of Wiggins; a granddaughter, Sabrina English Binkley, and her husband, Ryan, of Fairbanks, AK and great grandsons, Simon and Clive; also a step-granddaughter, Melinda Lehrer Knipe, and her husband, Ryan, of Pueblo, CO; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. English was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Janie Eaton Diver. The family would also like to recognize very special caregivers, Barsha Daily of Sterling, CO and Nancy Lechman of Fleming, CO. Memorials in Margie's name may be sent to Colorado Plains Medical Center, The Fort Morgan Museum, or Hospice of the Plains. At Margie's request there will be no service. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
