Maria R. Garcia, 98, suddenly passed away at home on Wednesday April 10, 2019. She was born April 14, 1920 in Beeville, TX to Lucas and Maria Rodriquez.

She enjoyed dancing, gardening, being outdoors, and was a very good cook, no one could make a warm fresh tortilla better than her. Maria loved spending time with her family, any chance she could get.

Maria is survived by her seven children, Nino, Zobeida, Blanca, Sylvia, George, Marina, and Bill, twenty-one grandchildren, and forty-six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Prudenico, one great grandson, two siblings, and her parents.

A Visitation will be Monday April 15, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Brush Chapel followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Immediately following services, Interment will be held at Brush Memorial Cemetery.
