Maria Perez, 65, former Hillrose area resident, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, following a short illness. She was born May 7, 1952 in Brush to Jesus & Teodosia Perez.

Maria graduated from Brush High School in 1971 and the University of Northern Colroado in Greeley. She recently retired as a loan servicing specialist in Denver.

Survivors include her Mother, Teodosia Perez; sisters, Elpidia, Gloria (Ramon), and Rosa; brothers, Ricardo, Jesse, and Rodolfo (Karyn); sister- in – law, Rosalie; and several nieces and nephews. Maria cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her Father and 2 brothers, Ruben and Ausencio.

Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 26, 2018, at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Private inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
