Marian Heitschmidt, 88, born on August 9th, 1937, to Henryette and Paul Holt, passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2025. She was born in Star, Idaho and graduated from high school in Lakewood, Colorado. In 1959, Marian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Colorado. In 1963, Marian married W. Wayne, and together they had two sons, Keven and Brian.

Marian taught for several years while Wayne managed the family farm in Brighton, Colorado. The family moved to Fort Morgan in 1972 after purchasing their own farm. Marian worked on the dairy farm alongside her husband and raised their children. After retiring, she spent time sewing, quilting, and reading, often giving away the items she made. She also had a love for cooking and baking.

She is survived by her sons, Keven (Bobbi) and Brian; brother, Norman Holt; six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Steve Holt.

Funeral services will be private.
