Marianna T. Tixier, age 63, died peacefully on February 6, 2018 surrounded by the people she loved. Marianna was born February 20, 1954 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Alonzo B. and Maria T. Tixier.  She spent most of her life in Albuquerque, NM.

Marianna enjoyed traveling and quilting, but what she enjoyed most in life was spending time with her family. Known to many as 'Tia' she had the uncanny ability to light up a room with her love and laughter.  She was a strong and courageous lady that had a selfless devotion to her family.  In 2000, Marianna moved to Fort Morgan, CO and married her soul-mate and love of her life, Arthur J. Ramirez.

She was preceded in death by her father Alonzo B. Tixier and brother Phillip Tixier. She is survived by her husband, Arthur J. Ramirez, her two children, Justin (Anna) Tortosa, and Jessica Wright, her two step-sons, Matt (April) Ramirez, Tim (Markee) Ramirez and mother Maria T. Tixier.  She is also survived by four siblings, David (Marcy), Michael, Eileen, and Timothy (DeeAnn), nine grandchildren,  along with many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
