Marie Propp, 103, Longtime Fort Morgan area resident, died Sunday morning at the Valley View Villa in Ft. Morgan. She was born December 2, 1905 in Lincoln, Ne,. to Henry and Mollie Bernhardt. She married Jacob Propp December 3, 1929 in Lincoln, NE. They farmed in the Ft. Morgan area and Marie worked for the Fort Morgan School District as a cook. She loved to bake, crochet, and work in her flower garden. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Church. She was active in the Ladies Fellowship and other Clubs. She is survived by her sons Kenneth Propp, and Melvin Propp both of Ft. Morgan, and Jacob Propp of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, one granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009, at 10:30 am at the Immanuel Evangelical Church. Inurnment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
