Marie Wheeler, 95, life resident of the Brush community, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. She was born September 29, 1919, in Brush, to Conrad & Magdalena "Bloom" Blum. Marie worked several years at Cooperider Hotel & Lounge and later at the Drovers Restaurant. She loved cats. Her favorite time was spending time with her family. Survivors include 2 daughters, Sharon Cargile of Logan, NM and Connie (Henry) Ring of Brush; 1 brother, Albert (Betty Jo) Bloom of Fort Collins, CO; 4 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, 4 sisters, 6 brothers, her son-in-law James Cargile, and her parents. At Marie's request, no service will be held. Interment has taken place in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. The Heer Mortuary is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
