Marie Ann Witman, 66, longtime area resident, died Monday, February 20, 2017 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.

She was born April 1, 1950 in Lamar, CO to Bernard & Harriette (Haling) Hamilton. She attended schools in Lamar and graduated from Lamar High School. Marie married Larry Witman on July 20, 1974 in Sterling.

Marie was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Brush. She enjoyed going to southern gospel concerts, reading, coloring, and having lunch with her friend.

She is survived by her daughters, Lucindia Schnegelberger and husband, John of Fort Morgan, and Carrie McDougall and husband, Bill of Fort Morgan; her son, Ron Stuenkel of Fremont, NE; her brother, Bernard of Texas; two sisters, Jenny of Indiana and Alma of Colorado; her mother-in-law, Wilma Witman of Greeley; and five grandchildren, Shanna, Kylie, Hayden, Jorja, and Kalli.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry; and two brothers, John and Jimmy.

A memorial service will be Thursday, February 23rd at 10:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church in Brush. Services will conclude at the church.
