Marilyn Kay Barnhart Oleson was Born on October the 30th, 1940 in Auburn NE to Alva Lee Barnhart and Doris Rose (Good) Barnhart.  Marilyn passed away on December 7th, 2020 at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush Colorado where she has been a resident since 2005. Marilyn was 80yrs old.

Marilyn is survived by Three of her five children, Mike (Linda) Bates of Cheyenne Wyoming, Jack (Ren'e) Bates of Lakeland Florida, Jennifer (Mike Bragg) Haynes of Gilbert Illinois. Four siblings, Jim (Barbara) Barnhart of Greenville Texas, Donald Barnhart of Aurora Colorado, Betty (Patrick) McDonald of Akron Colorado, Debra Cecil of Tulsa Oklahoma. Six Grandchildren, eleven Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Doris Barnhart, two infant sons, Stephen Ernest and Robert Allen Bates, and her husband, Ken Oleson.

Services for Marilyn will be Monday December 14th at 11:30 am at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush Colorado, followed by burial in the Glen Cemetery in Lindon Colorado.  Funeral will be officiated by Marilyn's Long time Chaplin, Rosalie Fesser.
