Marilyn Perkins, 76, of Fort Morgan, died Monday morning, September 15, 2014 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. She was born April 25, 1938 in Denver to John & Doris (Robinson) Johnson. She married Glen Perkins in Colorado Springs on August 3, 1967. They moved to Fort Morgan from Montrose in 1996. In addition to her husband, Marilyn is also survived by her daughter and son-in law, Michelle & Barry Covelli of Fort Morgan; her step daughter, Rhonda Schriner of Aurora; her sister, Marlene Zerr of Avondale; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Josh & Laura Covelli; her granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Covelli, and four great grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her step son, Clinton Perkins; and her grandson, Justin Covelli. At Marilyn's request, cremation has taken place and there will not be any formal services.
