Marilyn Skinner, 79, passed away on March 17, 2023 at her home in Wiggins.

She was born on January 20, 1944 in Des Moines, Iowa to Harold Leo McAninch & LaVonne Flinn.

Marilyn married Glenn L. Skinner on December 31, 1979. She worked for Sticky Notes, 7-11, K-Mart & ECSDD, ran a daycare for 10 years and she and Glenn opened their home to foster children and adopted a son.

Marilyn loved the mountains, especially Drake, Colorado. She loved to go camping, out to eat, and pawn shopping stores for antiques.

Marilyn is survived by Lisa L. Lebsock, Rodney Lebsock (Sheila), Malinda Hatfield Lebsock, Jana Kamp of Texas, her sister, Sandy Ward of Florida, brother Raymond Miller of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dicki Miller of California, Darin Skinner, Ron Skinner, Glenn Skinner Jr., Wanda Puente, Edward "Sam" Skinner; her grandchildren, Ryan Osburn (April), Branden Young (Rachelle), Alisha Montano (Lucas), Corey Jarrell, Prestyn Lebsock, Kyle Marshall, Aaron Marshall (McKenzie), Gavin Marshall, Eli Marshall, Abbie Lebsock, Megan Goodman, Ashton Goodman, Mason Lebsock, Jacob Kamp, Glenn Skinner Jr., Ron Skinner, Sierra, Joshua, Israel, Sierra Castillo, Nathaniel, Jose Jr. Winter,  and Kristyl Skinner; great grandchildren, Rachel Montano, Tyson Montano, Ross Montano, Coletin Osburn, Hunter Osburn, River Marshall as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Skinner of 44 years; her parents, Harold McAninch, LaVonne Flinn & Richard Miller, and her step-daughter, Christyl Skinner.

A memorial service for Glenn and Marilyn will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Mark Arndt Event Center at Morgan County Fairgrounds in Brush at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Cremation was requested.
