Marjorie Ann Carey, 78, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 surrounded by family at the North Colorado Medical Center Hospice Unit in Greeley.

She was born May 23, 1939 in Gill, Colorado to John and Mollie (Wolfe) Fahrenbruch.

Marjorie married Kenneth C. Carey on September 6, 1959 in the Saint Peters Catholic Church in Greeley.

Marjorie was an active member of Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan and a member and past president of the Altar and Rosary Society.

Marjorie liked to cook, travel, garden, and play cards with her family and friends. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren's many activities and taking trips to Blackhawk.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth C. Carey of Fort Morgan; three children, Tracy Schneider, (Todd) of Fort Morgan, Mike Carey (Lisa) of Kansas City, Missouri, and Matt Carey (Madeline) of Fort Collins, one brother, Alan Fahrenbruch of Cuba, Illinois, nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her son, Mark Carey, a brother, Edward Fahrenbruch, two sisters, Betty Schott and Shirley Taylor, and her parents.

There will be a Rosary Vigil and visitation Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in  Serenity Falls in Fort Morgan.
