Mark Alan Carey, 54, of Fort Morgan, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 30, 2015. He was born February 6, 1961 in Greeley to Kenneth and Marjorie (Fahrenbruch) Carey. Mark grew up in Sterling where he attended schools and graduated from Sterling High School in 1979. Mark worked in retail management for the majority of his life. He was currently employed by Viaero Wireless in Fort Morgan where he had worked for nearly three years. Mark was a member of Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. In his younger years, Mark enjoyed various types of art and was a talented artist. In his most recent days, he enjoyed gardening, decorating, and traveling. Marked loved to spend time with his family and play cards. Mark is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Marjorie Carey of Fort Morgan; his sister, Tracy Schneider and her husband, Todd of Fort Morgan; his two brothers, Mike Carey and his wife, Lisa of Ogallala, NE, and Matt Carey and his wife, Madeline of Fort Collins, and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Esther Carey and John and Mollie Fahrenbruch. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 6th at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Inurnment will be in Serenity Falls Columbarium. Memorial donations may be made in Mark's name and sent to Heer Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701. An exact foundation for the donations will be decided by the family at a later time.
