Mark Ruiz, 56, of Weldona, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023.

Mark was born on December 6, 1966 in Fort Morgan to Ernesto & Bravila Ruiz.

He enjoyed farming, working with the cows and being with his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Sherri Casias & his three grandchildren, Dominic, Niya, Mariya of West Virginia; three sisters, Beatrice Ruiz Dixon, Mariana Ruiz Lundock, both of Weldona and Maria Chavez (Claudio) of Omaha, NE; two brothers, Jessie Ruiz of Wiggins, Jose Martin of Weldona, 4 nieces, 5 nephews, 2 great nieces, and 8 great nephews.

He is preceded in death by is parents, Ernesto & Viola Ruiz; one sister, Consuelo Flora; six brothers, Antonio, Richard, Joe, Ernest Jr., Gregerio and Estanislado Ruiz; paternal and maternal grandparents; 3 nephews, Shawn Ruiz, Robert Nicholas Dixon & Martin Dixon; one niece, Olivia Lulf; two brothers-in-law, Robert Dixon and Joe Lundock.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 4-6 PM at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
