Marti Anderson, 65, passed away suddenly Friday evening, June 8, 2012. at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. She was born February 6, 1947, in Lincoln, NE, to George & Betty Roper. Marti married Butch Anderson on May 5, 1983, in Las Vegas. In 1999 the Anderson's moved to the Brush community. Marti worked for several years at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. She enjoyed taking care of people. She was a member of the EMCH Auxiliary, the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center Auxiliary, and All Saints Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, studying history, and collecting antiques. Marti was very instrumental in helping to update the Eben Ezer Cemetery and make the cemetery grounds more presentable. Survivors include her husband, Butch of Brush; 1 son, Jeremy Chrastil of Lincoln, NE, her Mother, Betty Roper of Ashland, NE; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 15, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the Friedens Lutheran Church in Lincoln, NE. Interment will follow in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in Brush on Thursday June 21, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben Ezer. A reception will follow the memorial service. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center Cemetery Fund.
