Mary Anne Bourquin, 64, former Brush resident, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, in Greeley, CO. She was born March 27, 1950, in Brush, to Eulogio & Mary Ann Ybarra. Prior to retirement, Mary worked as the Head Cook for the RE-2J School District for 26 years. After retiring, she lived in Texas for a short time and then moved to Greeley in 2009. Mary enjoyed watching television, doing arts & crafts projects, and working in her flower garden. Her favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her son, John Bourquin of Milliken, CO; Her former husband, Don Bourquin of Fort Morgan; 10 brothers & sisters, Paul Ybarra, and Lucky Ybarra of Brush, Pete Ybarra, Ben Ybarra, and Pamela Scott of Greeley, Christina Rocha and Liz Griffin of Guymon, OK, Connie Hisle of Lakewood, Marty Ybarra of Tomah, WI, and Phyllis Mongold of Amarillo, TX; 5 grandchildren, Jared Bourquin, Dustin Hass, Colleen Sosa, Cassidy Kottke and Truman Kottke; and 3 great grandchildren, Gabby Bourquin, Eric Puente, and Ashley Puente. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Leslie Kottke; 1 grandson, Jacob; 2 sisters, Louise Mirabal, Virginia Edwards; and her parents. Funeral services will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Heer Chapel in Brush on Tuesday from 3 - 6 PM..
