Mary H. Gonzalez, 76 of Brush, died August 3, 2007 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Mary was born March 18, 1931 in Chacon, New Mexico to John and Aureila (Lucero) Herrera. She moved from New Mexico to Brush with her family when she was a child. She married Ramiro G. Gonzalez on June 29, 1953 in Brush. Mary enjoyed crocheting and especially liked making blankets. She also liked gardening and tending to the flowers in her yard. Survivors include six daughters, Theresa A. Gonzales and Louisa Gonzalez both of Ft. Morgan, Helen Gonzalez, Patti Gonzalez and Michelle Killough all of Brush and Josie Benavides of Ault, one son, Ramiro Gonzalez Jr. of Wiggins, one brother, Harry Herrera of Brush, three sisters, Dora Guzman of Brush, Frances Gonzales of Greeley and Margie Carillo of Lytle, Texas, seventeen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ramiro, two brothers, Bernie and Joseph Herrera and one sister, Jennie Herrera. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Brush. Inurnment will follow in Brush Memorial Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. The Heer Mortuary and Crematory in Brush is in charge of the arrangements.
