Obituary

Mary Pauline Hardee Woodard, 75, of Loveland, died Monday afternoon at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Ft. Morgan. She was born July 17, 1935 in Enfield, NC to Dwight and Mary Hardee. She married James Edward Woodard on December 17, 1961 in Enfield. They made their home in Enfield for many years. She was active in her church playing the piano and singing in the choir. James died in June 2004. Mary moved to Loveland to live with her daughter, Martha Lynn Temple. Ill health forced her to move to North Shore Health and Rehab Center in Loveland in 2009. She enjoyed being with her new friends at North Shore. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Lynn Temple and her husband Tim, of Loveland; three granddaughters, Melissa Helen Vangorder and her husband Kurt, of Ft. Morgan, Sarah Joy Temple of Loveland, and Amber Brooke Pelsky and her husband, Alex, of Massachusetts; two great granddaughters, Bryonna Lynn Vangorder and Savannah Nikole Vangorder; two brothers, James Hardee of Sandston, VA and Joe Hardee of Hopewell, VA, and one sister, Martha Howell of Franklin, VA. She was preceded in death by her her husband James, a daughter, Paula Diane Nethercutt, and her parents. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
