Mary Ann Johnson, 96, former Fort Morgan resident, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the Life Care Center of Westminster, Westminster, CO.  She was born January 30, 1925 in Walsenburg, CO to Martin & Genevieve Levar.

Mary Ann was married to Donald F. Palasty from 1944 until 1972.  After his death, she married George Hellyer in 1976 until his death in 1998.  Following his death, she married Benjamin Johnson in 2007 until his death in 2013.

Mary Ann lived in Fort Morgan from 1961 until health issues forced her to move closer to her family in the Denver area.  She was a member of St. Helena's Catholic Church.  She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.  She especially liked to play Bridge and country dance.

Survivors include her 4 daughters, Karen Miller of Westminster, CO; Collen Daley of Littleton, CO; Donna Palasty and Elaine Rothe bother of Fort Morgan; two stepdaughters, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great – great grandchildren.

A memorial graveside service will be held in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan on Friday, May 7 at 11:00 a.m.
