Mary Mendoza, 89, of Fort Morgan, CO passed away peacefully on May 27, 2022

Mary was born on June 7, 1932 to Hipolito and Delores Acosta. She married Daniel O. Mendoza on January 21, 1956. They were blessed with two children, Rosalie and Roy.

Mary enjoyed cooking, embroidery, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Saint Helena's Catholic Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Manuel, Robert, Paul, John; one sister Cleo; her husband Daniel; and her children, Rosalie and Roy.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Andrea (Adrian) and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Aurora, Analeigh, Ayden, Emalyn; one brother Felix Acosta and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan Thursday, June 9 at 4 pm, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 10 at 1:30 PM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan, followed by interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
