Mary Louise Santiago, 65, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at her home in Colorado Springs. She was born February 13, 1944 to Guadalupe and Juanita (Serrano) Rocha. Mary married Melquides Santiago in Brush in November of 1988. She lived most of her life in Brush but also lived in Colorado Springs. Mary attended Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. She enjoyed going to garage sales, reading, watching soap operas on TV, especially the Young and the Restless, and being with her sister, Jennie, she affectionately called "Sissy". She loved her grandchildren and they were very special to her. Survivors include her husband, Mel, of Colorado Springs; daughters, Laurie Pinzon of Winter Springs, Florida, Cathy Alverez and Angie Moreno both of Colorado Springs, sons, Michael Lopez and Andy Martinez both of Colorado Springs, sisters, Cruz Rivera of Sterling, Jennie Mata and Josie Ponce both of Brush and Julia Rocha of San Diego, CA, brothers, William Rocha and Danny Rocha both of Brush, and Jesse Rocha of Oklahoma, nineteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Manuel Rocha and Gilbert Rocha, and her sister, Lupe Flores. A Rosary Vigil will be held Friday, June 5, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the Rosary at St. Mary's at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude at the Church. Cremation will follow after the Mass. Memorial Gifts may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush
