Mary Emma Warboys, 93, longtime area resident, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born February 21, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio to Stephen and Elizabeth Hallda. Mary married Lewis L. Warboys on July 29, 1939. He died in 1991. Mary was a farmer and a rancher on their place north of Fort Morgan for most of her life. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan. Mary enjoyed baking, traveling, fishing, and taking care of her cats. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Mary is survived by three daughters, Mary Jane Serl, (Delmar), of Otis, Betty Jean Honebein of Brush, and Beverly June Carmin (Don), of Fort Morgan, one son, Lewis Leroy Warboys (Janyce), of Fort Morgan, nine grandchildren, Eugene Serl (Peggy), Lance Warboys, Ronald Serl, Kerri Schaffert, Lori Gapter (David), Stacey Honebein (Loretta), Kelly Carmin (Carisa), Kim Honebein, Kevin Warboys (Stephanie), eighteen great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis, three sisters, Irene Morton, Annie Schwindt, Bertha Vinson, two brothers, Raymond and Fred Hallda, and her parents. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
