Mary L. Williams, 95, longtime Morgan county resident, passed away June 26, 2015 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born July 1, 1919 in Kit Carson, CO to Anton and Anna Bloder. Mary married George Williams on January 17, 1942 in Syracuse, KS. They moved to the Morgan County area in 1950. She worked at the Brush Livestock for 25 years. Mary had a kind and loving soul and was always willing to help anybody who was in need. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the local Birthday club where she enjoyed lunches and card games with friends. She liked to garden and sew and her family was the center of her world. Survivors include her daughter Marjorie (Jimmy) Dardanes; three grandchildren, Stacie (Scott) Gilmore, Gregory (Gina) Dardanes and Aaron Dardanes; and seven great-grandchildren, Sterling, Samantha, Serenity, Erica, Darrian, Nickolas and Maxamus. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; three brothers, Frank, Tony and Carl Bloder; two sisters, Alice Walker and Laura Shade, and her parents. Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 9 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush, recitation of Rosary at 10:00 AM, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM. Internment will be immediately following at the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
