Matthew Gentz, 43, passed away on February 25, 2024. He was born on January 12, 1981, in Independence, Kansas. He grew up with a passion for riding motorcycles, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. He loved animals and was a kind-hearted person who always helped others in need. He had many jobs throughout his life, including trucking He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Matt is preceded in death by his twin sister, Eve Thompson, who died at birth. He is survived bye his husband, Austyn Gentz; mother, Cristie Thompson; brothers, Adam and Joshua Ballinger; and daughter, Arthena Woods.
