Michael Anthony Aguirre, 22, lifelong Ft. Morgan resident, died Friday, March 11, 2011 from injuries he sustained in a local traffic accident. He was born June 19, 1988 in Brush to Dagoberto Aguirre-Cano and Esmeralda San Miguel. Michael enjoyed singing, music, playing football and basketball. His friends and family were very important to him. He was always happy and tried to make the people around him laugh. He is survived by his father, Dagoberto Aguirre-Cano, mother, Esmeralda San Miguel Resendez of Ft. Morgan, his step-father Fidel Resendez, of Mexico, brothers, Doug Agurrie, Sergio Aguirre, Joshua Aguirre, Christian Aguirre, Alex Resendez and Orlando Resendez all of Ft. Morgan. His grandmother, Guadalupe Cano of Mexico, and his grandfather, Magdaleno San Miguel of Ft. Morgan. He was preceded in death by a grandmother Elisa Garcia San Miguel and a grandfather Rosendo Aguirre-Cano There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 10 am until 1:30 pm at the Platte Valley Baptist Church in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 1:30 pm at the Platte Valley Baptist Church. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
