Michael Eugene Cullop, 62, of Fort Morgan, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Denver. He was born May 24, 1952 in Ashland, OR to Paul and Mary Cullop. Michael's favorite things were spending time with his grandchildren, going to the park, watching movies, and of course, eating ice cream. He developed a love for motorcycles, and he and Barbara enjoyed riding their trikes around town and going on poker runs and making new friends. Michael was the type of man who would do anything for a friend or family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cullop of Fort Morgan; three children, Kelley Hazen of Wray, Heather Cullop of Burlington, and Rafe Cullop of Fort Morgan; along with seven grandchildren, which he adored, Dusty Simon, Karina Rushton, Alyca Rushton, Tyler Rushton, Kandess Mills, Brock Mills, and Haxden Mills. He is also survived by his father, Paul Cullop of Eugene, OR; three brothers, Wayne Cullop of Phoenix, AZ, Larry Cullop of Eugene, OR, and Jerry Cullop of Montesano, WA, and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Cullop; and his brother, Tom Cullop. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 18th at 11:00 AM at The Sanctuary in Fort Morgan.
